Titus Ogden Bond

This bond, issued in North Carolina on September 12, 1787, declares that Titus Ogden (executor of Thomas Ogden), William Blount, and John Sitgreaves will owe the State 5,000 Pounds if they fail to administer Ogden's estate properly. The bond is signed by all of the parties involved.

This collection includes the papers of a multitude of Fox family members, including Andrew Fox Sr. and his sons Andrew, Ezekiel, Henry, and Isaac. Also included are the papers of an additional son, James A. Fox; his son, James A. Fox Jr.; and grandson, James S. Fox. State of North Carolina Land Grant to Stockley Donelson

This land grant documents Stockley Donelson's purchase of 640 acres of land (at the rate of 25 shillings per acre) lying south of the Nolichucky Road and north of Wallens Ridge. John Jay Deposition Testimony

This collection includes the original and five replicas, ranging from 1792 to 1793, of a deposition concerning the execution of David VanHorne’s last will and testament with respect to his estates in the state of New York. The deposition is on behalf of John Jay and Ann VanHorne, the daughter of the deceased, who are executing the will on behalf of its originator.

This writ instructs the Sheriff of Davidson County to sell a parcel of land belonging to James Montflorence in order to satisfy a debt of "Sixty nine pounds fourteen Shillings & four pence half penny" that Montflorence owes to Howel Tatum. The document also mentions that an unspecified debt to Andrew Jackson must be settled before Tatum can be paid.
